The Parliamentary Workplace Support Service is committed to promoting and maintaining a culture of courtesy and respect in Commonwealth Parliamentary Workplaces, where all participants are able to work in an environment that is free from inappropriate workplace behaviour.
Safe and Respectful Workplaces training
The Safe and Respectful Workplaces for MOP(S) Act employees training module is available via the PWSS Academy and facilitated by the PWSS Learning and Development team.
This training program addresses issues relating to sexual harassment, sexual assault and workplace bullying. The program was developed in response to recommendations made by the Review of the Parliamentary Workplace: Responding to Serious Incidents so that parliamentary workplaces are safe, supportive and respectful for all.
Learning aims:

provides participants with an understanding of their rights and responsibilities in the workplace,

what constitutes unacceptable behaviour,

how to respond to serious incidents and when they occur.
