The PWSS Academy facilitates learning and professional development for all MoP(S) Act Employees, which have a unique role in the fast-paced, dynamic parliamentary environment.

If you wish to access training opportunities outside of the offerings available through the PWSS Academy, you may be able to do so through ad hoc training reimbursements.

Studies assistance is available to eligible MOP(S) Act employees. Ongoing or non-ongoing MOP(S) Act employees can apply for studies assistance.

If you are interested in attending a face-to-face training course that is not located within reasonable distance, you may be able to claim travel expenses to attend.

MOP(S) Act employees in Health and Safety Representative, WHS Site Officer, First Aid Officer, and Emergency Officer roles are provided with ongoing training to support them to fulfil their responsibilities and obligations to effectively perform in that role.
