Work Health and Safety Committee
The Work Health and Safety (WHS) Committee facilitates consultation between PWSS, Finance, and MOP(S) Act employees on a broad range of work health and safety issues, including developing work health and safety policies.
Work Health and Safety Committee members
The Committee is made up of Health and Safety Representatives (HSRs) from each workgroup. Workgroups are based on party lines with the numbers of HSRs for each workgroup proportionate to the number of employee positions in the workgroup. The Committee also includes union and management representatives.
Following a period of consultation, the WHS work group structure has been finalised and HSR’s have been elected as outlined in the table below.
The Committee for the 48th Parliament is in the process of being established and this page will be updated once that process is finalised.
