Grief and loss
This factsheet provides Members of Parliament (Staff) Act 1984 employees (MOPS employees) with managing grief and loss and how it may be used for matters that arise in the context of their employment in a Commonwealth parliamentary workplace.

All workers, including parliamentarians and MOP(S) Act employees, have a duty to take reasonable care that their behaviour does not affect their own health and safety, or that of other persons.
Section
All people who work in Commonwealth parliamentary workplaces, past and present, have access to confidential, trauma-informed conflict resolution, support and assistance through the PWSS, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. MoP(S) Act staff and parliamentarians also have access to an employee assistance provider.
