Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for MOP(S) Act employees and parliamentarians
Current MOP(S) Act employees and parliamentarians, as well as their immediate family and household members, have access to free, professional and confidential counselling through our EAP provider, TELUS Health. Former MOP(S) Act employees and parliamentarians continue to have access until 3 months after their employment ends. TELUS Health services are available virtually or in-person.
You can contact TELUS Health 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to schedule an appointment. Appointments can be made by calling 1300 360 364, or by calling the support line for First Nations people on 1800 816 152.
If you are not a MOP(S) Act employee or a parliamentarian, you are unable to access this service. Please seek advice from your employer about whether they provide an EAP service.
Additionally, both current and former MOP(S) Act staff, volunteers and parliamentarians, connected to a Commonwealth Parliamentary Workplace, are able to access the PWSS Counselling and Support service, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, on 1800 PH PWSS (1800 747 977) (option 1), via email at support@pwss.gov.au and on SMS 0487 112 755.
