This factsheet provides Members of Parliament (Staff) Act 1984 MOP(S) Act staff with guidance on how to have facilitated discussions, mediation processes, the role faciliators and how it may be used for matters that arise in the context of their employment in a Commonwealth Parliamentary workplace.

All people who work in Commonwealth parliamentary workplaces, past and present, have access to confidential, trauma-informed conflict resolution, support and assistance through the PWSS, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. MoP(S) Act staff and parliamentarians also have access to an employee assistance provider.

Human Resources advice for new, current and exiting MOP(S) Act staff. The PWSS HR team provides information and advice for new and current MOP(S) Act employees throughout the entire employee lifecycle; from onboarding staff, to duties, performance, office changes and ceasing employment.
